I think the advisory relationship changes over time especially with part-time studies

The problem I find is sometimes the candidate finds the academic writing an issue when you have been doing short notes of policy documents etc.

I don't know how anybody does a research degree without the Cohort program in their life..I couldn't do it without them!!

thanks Emma, so true about the change in the relationship … often moves towards collegial.

Connecting with peers via cohort has been a big plus for me.... connections of mutual support are wonderful...
